New Beginnings Pregnancy Care Centers began serving women in the metro-east area 18 years ago. Since then, we have offered help and hope to over 6,000 women and their families. We began with our first office located in Granite City, IL.

Services included free pregnancy tests, options counseling, and referrals for prenatal care as well as other community services. Counseling topics included fetal development, abortion, adoption, abstinence and parenting. Educating our clients so they might make an informed decision has always been a priority.

With an increase in clients, we opened our second office ten years ago in Fairview Heights, IL.

We then saw a need to begin a post abortive healing program for women, who at one time in their past, chose abortion and were having a difficult time dealing with that decision. Our Childbirth and Parenting Classes came next, providing new mothers vital instruction on basic labor and parenting skills. Upon completion of all four classes, clients receive free baby items valued at approximately $250.

Along the way, we have also added an ultrasound machine(offering free ultrasounds) and converted to a medical clinic complete with two O.B./GYN’s and a nurse manager to oversee the program.

More recently, New Beginnings began a male counseling program to support the father of the client’s baby.

Finally, we opened a third office in the Edwardsville area to better serve the community.
